FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Is the boat safe for children?
A: The Coast Guard regulations for commercial vessels are very specific especially with regard to safety equipment and in particular the railing around the boat. We are certified for 49 passengers.
Q: Do we have life jackets?
A: Yes, regulations require we have a PFD (personal floatation device) for every passenger onboard. Children under six years of age are required to wear a PFD while onboard. You may bring your own approved PFD if you prefer.
Q: What should we bring?
A: You can bring a small ice chest with snacks and drinks (Please NO glass containers). Some like to grab a burger on the way to the boat and make it a "dinner cruise". Polarized sunglasses are a big help along with Cameras, cam corders, sun screen, binoculars and a hat.
Q: What if it rains?
A: Summer time in Pensacola brings some very isolated rain showers. In this case we will delay the start of the cruise until it passes. In the case of more widespread thunder storms we will re-schedule.
Q: What time should we be there?
A: Cruise time are 10am 2pm and 5pm. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
Q: What do we wear?
A: Comfortable beach type clothing and soft soled shoes. Hats and sunglasses are helpful.
